SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe Resort was sold to Ken Corp., a Japan-based corporation specializing in asset management, real estate investment, international real estate, property management and residential leasing. The resort will continue to operate as Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe Resort, under the management of Hilton Hotel Corp. and the current staff.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed, however, the property will now operate debt free. Previous ownership had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May of 1998. (12/28/00)
