ROSEMONT, IL— The Hyatt Regency O’Hare has appointed David Jacobs as its new general manager. A veteran of the hospitality industry, Jacobs will oversee all operations of the 1,100-room hotel and will play a central role in directing the property’s $60-million renovation thats currently under way. Jacobs has been with Hyatt Corp. for 22 years and most recently was general manager at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis for eight years. He began his hospitality career in 1985 with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts as a corporate management trainee at the company’s largest property, the Hyatt Regency Chicago. He subsequently held positions at various properties, including the Hyatt Regency Lexington in Kentucky and the Hyatt University Village in Chicago.
