MIAMI, FL— Thompson Calhoun Fair LLC (TCF) has advised Wyndham International in the disposition (at an undisclosed amount) of the 266-room Doubletree Club Miami Lakes Hotel here to Garber Hotel Investments LLC. Located at 1101 NW 57th Ave., the Doubletree Club is located one mile from Miami International Airport and seven miles from downtown Miami. The property opened in 1984 and is comprised of a full-service restaurant, club lounge, fitness center, outdoor pool and approximately 6,790 square feet of meeting space. Regarding the immediate future of the property, Mark Fair, a partner with Atlanta, GA-based TCF, maintained: “The hotel will be closed in order to completely renovate and re-brand to an upscale full-service property. Its excellent location and proximity to the airport are well suited for a conversion of this nature.”
