NEW YORK, NY— The board of directors at the International Society of Hospitality Purchasers (ISHP) has released its Declaration of Ethical Purchasing Practices for members. The declaration reaffirms the organization’s code of ethics, stating, “When acting as a purchasing agent for our clients, in connection with the performance and obligations under this scope of work, we warrant that we shall not in any way accept undisclosed commissions, fees or awards of any kind from product vendors, service vendors, or any other vendors involved in the project.” Alan Benjamin, ISHP president added, “Integrity is the cornerstone of our organization, and our ultimate success will be measured by the extent to which we effectively communicate our uncompromising commitment to ethical business practices.”
