VANCOUVER, CANADA— Intrawest Corp.’s shareholders have passed a special resolution to approve the continuance of the company under the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA). The company is sending to the director under the CBCA articles of continuance and other required documents. It is anticipated that the continuance will become effective within the next week. Intrawest was previously governed by the British Columbia Company Act. Management believes that the continuance will permit Intrawest to take advantage of the more modern corporate law procedures provided by the CBCA.
