MIAMI— Interval International announced the promotion of David Gilbert to executive vp/resort sales and marketing. He will report to Craig Nash, chairman/CEO of the global vacation exchange company. In this new role, Gilbert will continue to direct the affiliation and ongoing servicing of resort clients in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. He will now also oversee corporate marketing, publications, creative services and public relations. Gilbert has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility since he joined Interval 15 years ago including region sales director, assistant vp and vp/resort sales and service. Most recently, he was senior vp/resort sales and service for the Americas. Interval International has a global network of more than 1,900 resorts in 75 countries.
