HOUSTON- International eCommerce Inc. (IeC), an interactive television company, has announced the formal release of its new “NetForAll” Hotel Solution. IeC and its business partners will provide hotels a complete Internet and entertainment solution for guests and conferences. IeC has integrated interactive television services with core hotel services to deliver broadband Internet, interactive television, tCommerce, e-mail, eCommerce and videos-on-demand, as well as hotel services such as room service, housekeeping, and check-out all through the guests television.
IeC and its business partners will rewire hotels to create a complete internal network that will provide broadband access to every guestroom and meeting room. IeC will install its NetForAll set-top-boxes in each room to deliver its services through the television. There is no initial investment for the hotel, and IeC will share the new revenues generated from its product implementation. (8/24/00)
