DUBAI—The InterContinental Dubai Marina, a 132-guestroom luxury hotel with 196 fully serviced InterContinental Residential Suites, has opened here as part of the Bay Central development in the center of Dubai Marina.
The hotel is a showcase of cutting-edge design and decor, with bespoke modern art, design and sculptures throughout, according to the company. There are views of the marina and nine restaurant and bars including YNot, a wine and tapas bar; Accents, a restaurant and deli serving up dishes from around the globe; Ginter, a gin bar with a large gin collection; Gallery Lounge and Urban Shisha Lounge.
The Marina Social restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Jason Atherton, his first in the Middle East, is set to open in September. Inside, a bar called The Social Room will provide mixologists creating unique cocktails using an eclectic range of spirits from around the world.
The hotel’s outdoor swimming pool has panoramic marina views and gender-specific spas are available. Gym facilities offer separate weight and cardio rooms accessible 24 hours a day for hotel guests. In addition, there are meeting spaces across nine meeting rooms, offering natural light and seamless integrated audio and visual technology.
The property is within walking distance of the Dubai tram and metro, and local tourist attractions including Jumeirah Beach Rd. and The Walk on JBR, which offers a variety of restaurants and shops a short distance away.
“With our diverse range of world-class restaurant and bar venues, we will bring a new vibe to the Dubai Marina, giving the city’s discerning diners the opportunity to experience some of the best flavors from around the world, all year round. We are confident InterContinental Dubai Marina will be the place to see and be seen in Dubai,” said Michael Marti, GM of InterContinental Dubai Marina.
