HAMMOND, IN— MJ Properties LLC has sold a 169-room American Inn here to Sai Sai Inc. in a $1.513-million transaction brokered by Chicago, IL-based Hotel Source. The hotel is located off Interstate 90 on the Chicago Skyway, approximately 20 miles southeast of downtown Chicago. According to Hotel Source, the new owners plan to spend a considerable amount of money on capital improvements to the property, and are looking to add a franchise affiliation to the currently independent hotel.
