ATLANTA—IHG appointed Jayne O’Brien senior vice president of global brands, effective March 24, with responsibility for overseeing brand vision and strategy across IHG’s nine brands.
Prior to joining IHG, Jayne served as chief marketing officer for Dubai Properties Group, a master developer of destinations and districts across Dubai. There she was responsible for all group marketing, including brand management, public relations and customer relations. Previous to moving to Dubai, she was CMO at the Regus Group, a workplace solutions provider.
During an 18-year career at British Airways, she served in a number of senior brand marketing and commercial roles. O’Brien was responsible for helping develop many of BA’s brand and product initiatives, including the first flat bed in Business Class (Club World), the One World Alliance Brand and initiatives such as the first Arrivals Lounge concept at London Heathrow Airport, according to IHG.
