SPOKANE, WA The first stage of an expansion proposed for the Schweitzer Mountain Resort will begin in April. Groundbreaking for the $8 million White Pine Lodge, with 48 condominiums, will kick off a decade-long expansion intended to convert the ski area near Sandpoint, ID into a year-round destination resort.
