NEW ORLEANS— A ribbon cutting will take place on March 9 to mark the official re-opening of the Iberville Suites Hotel. a 230-room property that is part of The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of New Orleans complex. In addition to the Iberville Suites, the complex includes the 452-room Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans and the 75-room Maison Orleans. Both the Ritz-Carlton and Maison Orleans reopened in December, after a 15-month, $100-million renovation and restoration effort necessitated by damage caused by Hurricane Katrina. The Iberville Suites originally opened in February, 2001. Closed since the hurricane, the entire hotel has been renovated and now has an elegant residential style and is adorned with antiques and art.
