TYSONS CORNER, VA—Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center, the newest Hyatt Regency-branded hotel in the Washington, DC-Northern Virginia area in more than 20 years, is expected to open in early 2015.
The 18-story Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center—steps away from the Silver Line Metrorail Station—will connect to Tysons Corner Center shopping mall and offer easy access to the nation’s capital, Northern Virginia’s technology and corporate center, and two major airports.
“The entire team at Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center looks forward to energizing guests by connecting them to the people and things that matter most during their hotel stay,” said Daniel Amato, general manager of Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center. “We will be working to foster connections, so our guests can work or play, collaborate or recharge with everything they need right at their fingertips. It will be a one-stop experience.”
The hotel will offer 300 guestrooms, including 18 lavish suites with deluxe bathrooms. Guestrooms will feature the latest in Hyatt Regency amenities, state-of-the-art in-room entertainment and new business technologies.
“Our contemporary guestrooms feel more like a private apartment with a collection of minimalistic and conceptual artwork. We’ve incorporated neutral- and light-colored fabrics combined with warm wood tones so our rooms are always modern and up-to-date,” said Amato. “We designed the rooms with the latest conveniences and technology in mind, including night-light foot sensors, 48-inch flat-panel televisions with remote control, and wireless high-speed Internet access that is complimentary in guestrooms and public spaces to keep guests connected to people and information without ever needing to leave the hotel.”
Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center will have more than 15,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, with 12 boardrooms and conference rooms to accommodate a variety of groups or occasions. The 7,000-sq.-ft. Regency Ballroom will be able to host more than 500 guests with its 21-ft.-high ceilings and elegant lighting for all occasions, and can be separated into three small rooms if desired. The hotel will also have 14 breakout rooms located on the second and fourth. The 600-sq.-ft. Fairfax Boardroom, located on the second floor, will accommodate 14-seated individuals with additional seating along the perimeter of the room, and the Vienna Boardroom will be 230-sq.-ft. and seat six people.
Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center will provide guests with the latest in services and amenities. The hotel’s exclusive Regency Club lounge will offer continental breakfast in the morning, midday snacks, and hors d’oeuvres and desserts in the evening. The 24-hour fitness center and health club will feature state-of-the-art strength training machines and cardiovascular equipment, along with an indoor swimming pool. The hotel will also provide its guests with the convenience of “Escape Bar” computer stations and printing services, the “Convenience Collection” program, babysitting, currency exchange and valet parking services.
Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center will be home to Barrel & Bushel, a contemporary American-style restaurant and bar located on the Plaza level. The beer-forward restaurant will offer guests regionally inspired food from throughout the country, the best local and craft beers available with 22 beer taps, and handcrafted cocktails. The hotel will also offer Barrel & Bushel Express, which provides guestroom and beverage delivery service if guests prefer to eat-in.
