SOCHI, RUSSIA—Hyatt Regency Sochi, the third Hyatt-branded hotel in Russia, recently opened. The newly built hotel is located in the central district of the city alongside the beach promenade, offering views of the Black Sea.
“The opening of Hyatt Regency Sochi marks a significant step forward in expanding our brand presence in Russia, a country that is rapidly becoming a burgeoning business and leisure destination,” said Peter Norman, SVP, acquisitions and development for Hyatt in the Europe, Africa, and Middle East region. “The new hotel will help to redefine the standard for hotels in Sochi, bringing an unprecedented level of quality, service and innovation to the city.”
The 14-floor, 198-room hotel includes 28 luxury suites, with an upscale range of amenities and services, including high-speed Internet. All guestrooms include features such as climate control, multi-satellite and cable television as well as ergonomic work areas.
Hyatt Regency Sochi has more than 16,200 sq. ft. of sophisticated, multi-purpose convention space. This includes a 5,700-sq.-ft., pillar-free Regency Ballroom with space for 350 guests, as well as a variety of indoor and outdoor venues catering to corporate meetings, weddings, and events. For business guests, there are five meeting rooms, a boardroom and two breakout areas.
The array of restaurants and bars in Hyatt Regency Sochi cater to a wide range of tastes. The signature restaurant, Bourride, serves simple and authentic dishes including seafood-based Mediterranean cuisine. Passage, the all-day dining restaurant, offers a range of international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ground floor’s Lounge serves premium teas and coffee; a wide selection of spirits; and snacks and homemade pastries.
The hotel’s bar, Moyama, offers a selection of wines, spirits and cocktails as well as an in-house DJ. The Pool Bar features a selection of food and beverage poolside, which can also be rented out to host banquets and cocktail receptions for up to 50 people.
