CHICAGO—Hyatt Regency Chicago has introduced a new food and beverage outlet, The Living Room.
The bar and lounge offers a small plates menu of elevated bar cuisine, with an emphasis on cocktails, according to the company. On the second floor of the hotel’s West Tower, a full list of classic cocktails, the bar’s signature cocktail list, as well as beer and wine are offered. Breakfast is also available from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. and reopens for dinner and evening drinks from 5-11 p.m.
The Living Room comes off the heels of the hotel’s addition of 12,000 sq. ft. of new meeting and event space, bringing the total meeting and event space up to 240,000 sq. ft.
The Living Room’s signature cocktails, the Stirred menu, features drinks including the Dockside Cooler, made with Ketel Citroen, Sauvignon Blanc, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, served with a lemon twist; Hole In One, made with Johnnie Walker Black Label, honey, unsweetened tea, and lemon juice; and more.
Created by Chef Konstantinos Chaidaropoulos of the hotel’s contemporary steakhouse Stetsons Modern Steak + Sushi, the menu for The Living Room features small plates, including Mini Pork Belly Sliders with smoked bourbon apple sauce; Crispy Fried Mushrooms with boursin cheese, and white truffle cream sauce; or Octopus Carpaccio with semi-dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, caper berries, and rocket greens.
