CHICAGO— This summer Hyatts “Scoops” Haägen Dazs ice cream extravaganza returns for an eighth consecutive year. And Hyatt is adding Chicagos World Famous Elis Cheesecake to the menu. The summertime treats are available at 97 Hyatt hotels and resorts in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. From now until Sept.30, dessert offerings on Hyatt menus will include four ice cream flavors from Haägen Dazs— chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and dulce de leche— plus the Haägen Dazs sorbet flavors of raspberry, mango and “lemon zesty.” In addition to ice cream and sorbet, Hyatt offers Haägen Dazs ice cream and Elis cheesecake combinations such as “chocolate sensation and chilled mango soup” to “two times the fun sundae for two.” Also available is Elis “cookie crazy cheesecake” made with Oreo cookies, “turtle trio cheesecake and chocolate peanut butter cheesecake made with Reeses peanut butter cups. Other selections include apple Bavarian pie and apple pandowdy cheesecake.
