CHICAGO— Hyatt Hotels Corp. announced a new cash rebate program for meeting planners. With the Meeting Rebate offer, companies and organizations can receive up to $20,000 in cash rebates when holding a meeting at Hyatt during select “Extra Value Dates.” Additional savings of up to $25,000 can be obtained when the American Express Card is used. Meeting rebates are available at Hyatt hotels and resorts in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean through March 30, 2004. Eligible meetings must be booked by Dec. 30, 2003. The rebates are based on the number of paid room nights associated with each meeting. Groups can receive rebates for as few as 25 paid room nights, Hyatt said. The company noted that the savings come directly after each eligible meeting is held, so there is no need to bank points or keep track of credits earned. Planners can find eligible dates by calling (800) 543-1818 or at www.rebate.hyatt.com. Currently, there are 207 Hyatt hotels and resorts around the world.
