NEW YORK—The 30-story, 150-guestroom extended-stay Hyatt House is now open. Located in the Chelsea neighborhood’s historic Flower District, it provides travelers the comforts of home, but with contemporary touches like floor-to-ceiling windows, loft-like guestrooms and views of the city’s skyline.
Owned by Lexin Capital, the hotel was designed by Nobutaka Ashihara Architect PC and displays clean lines and a strong expression. It was inspired by the buildings in Manhattan.
The hotel’s guestrooms range in size from 270 to 510 sq. ft. in studio and one-bedroom floor plans. All rooms are furnished with a refrigerator and microwave. Kitchenettes with stainless steel appliances are available in some units.
Hyatt House New York/Chelsea features a 30th floor open-air rooftop patio with views Manhattan sites, such as the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Numerous dining opportunities are available as well.
