CHICAGO— Hyatt Hotels Corp. has licensed the “maxim” program from Yield Management Systems, LLC to enhance and upgrade the capabilities of its current revenue management system. Hyatt has been using an earlier version of the technology in its North American and Caribbean hotels since 1996. Hyatts revenue management system utilizes maxims patented Marginal Value Engine to achieve the highest level of revenue from rate and room offerings. Hyatts revenue management system will continue to be integrated with its Spirit central reservations system as well as with its property management systems. Hyatt plans to deploy their customized version of maxim to all North American and Caribbean hotels. YMSI will work with Hyatt and Computer Science Corp. on this project; CSC performs IT outsourcing for Hyatt.
