DORADO, PUERTO RICO— The Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort and Country Club here— located approximately 20 miles west of San Juan— is slated to open three new guestroom buildings this month that will add another 36 “Su Casa Cottages” to the nearly half-century-old resort’s complement of lodging units. Located on “Rockefeller Point,” a block of land overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Spanish-style accommodations consist of a sleeping area and separate living space furnished with a sofa bed and lounge chairs. Additionally, it was noted that every new guestroom will feature a balcony and/or patio with table and chair, as well as a lounge chair designed to augment the quiet, secluded ambiance of the property. —Michael Billig
