BOSTON— David Nadelman will be the new general manager and Irby Morvant the new director of sales and marketing when Hyatt Hotels Corp. assumes management June 26 of the Swissotel Boston and reflags it as the Hyatt Regency Boston Financial District. Nadelman will oversee the property takeover and manage daily operations at the 500-room hotel, which will undergo a multimillion dollar renovation in 2004. The renovations will focus on guestrooms and restaurants. The hotel will be Hyatt’s third property in the Boston area. It joins Hyatt Harborside, at Boston’s Logan Airport and Hyatt Regency Cambridge, situated alongside the Charles River. A 23-year Hyatt veteran, Nadelman started his career at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. He then served in management positions at several Hyatt properties Morvant, also a Hyatt veteran, will oversee sales and marketing strategies, develop and administering yearly marketing plans and direct internal and external human resources. Previously, Morvant was director of sales and marketing for the Hyatt Regency Cleveland, OH.
