ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL— HVS Executive Search has been tapped to direct the search for a new president/CEO for Arlington Hospitality, Inc. to replace Jerry Herman, who will step down from that position effective Dec. 31. Arlington’s board of directors has formed a search committee composed of four directors who will evaluate candidates proposed from the HVS search, which is being led by the company’s president, Keith Kefgen. The search committee will then make recommendations to the full board. Meanwhile, the board has appointed Stephen Miller, svp/real estate and business development, as interim CEO. In addition, Arlington said it would hold its annual shareholder meeting on Dec. 22 at the firm’s corporate headquarters. Shareholders of record as of Nov. 24 are expected to vote on the election of directors and the ratification of the company’s independent auditors.
