ROANOKE, WVA—Floyd Hunter Jr. has been named general manager at Stonewall Resort, a 208-room property here with a lakeside lodge and cottages on 2,000 acres. Previously, Hunter was president, COO and general manager for the Buck Hill Falls Co., a 5,000-acre private resort in Buck Hill Falls, PA. In other experience, he was president/COO of Hunter Associates, a hospitality management and consulting company; general manager of both the Governor Carver Motor Inn and the Governor Bradford Motor Inn in Plymouth, MA; and assistant GM for the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort of North Conway, NH. Stonewall Resort is operated by Benchmark Hospitality International.
