NEWTON, MA— HubX, a provider of eCommerce capabilities, concluded 2001 with 55 more hotel clients and with many more partnerships in the pipeline. In the past 12 months, HubX has delivered hotel eCommerce systems, particularly website development capabilities and booking engine automation services, for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Amfac Parks and Resorts, The Saunders Group and a number of independent properties including the Boston Harbor Hotel, The Charles Hotel, and The Colonnade. In 2001, HubX also signed an agreement with Wizcom to utilize its enterprise connectivity technology for seamless access to all four GDS’s. HubX expects to announce three new contracts in the coming weeks and will continue to enhance its products with new tools to meet the needs of hotels, both independents and groups.
