MCLEAN, VA—The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association is partnering with the Consumer Electronics Association to produce an HSMAI Executive T.H.I.N.K. (Travel & Hospitality Innovation, Networking & Knowledge) program—a private curated tour for hotel executives—at the 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, on Jan. 6-9, 2016.
The program consists of two tours where HSMAI and a CEA economist will schedule demonstrations with companies who create the latest in lifestyle technologies, which may have future implications on consumer behavior and, ultimately, the hospitality and travel industry.
“Attendees of HSMAI Executive T.H.I.N.K. will have the unique opportunity to receive insights into consumer behavior and discuss their views on potential implications for the hotel guest and the hospitality industry of the future,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO, HSMAI.
The first tour at CES Tech West will showcase the newest innovations in lifestyle technologies, including digital fitness and health tech, the Internet of things, and other high-growth product categories changing the way we live, work and play. CES Tech West is also home to the startup community, including 400 new and pioneering companies.
The second tour at CES Tech East is home to an array of innovative product categories, running the gamut from audio, video and wireless, to all things “i,” wireless and more. CES Tech East features more than 800 international exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and products from around the world.
A limited number of scholarships are available for hotel company executives to attend.
