MCLEAN, VA— The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) has teamed with Smith Travel Research (STR) to offer the STR Marketing Plan Databook. The databook is billed as a comprehensive tool to provide hotels with actionable, industry data customized to local market and competitive sets. As such, it was noted the customized STR Marketing Plan Databook provides: local market competition analyses; ready-made charts and graphs capable of being imported directly into forecasts; local hotel-construction pipeline reports; and current as well as historic occupancy trends. According to HSMAI President/CEO Robert Gilbert, CHME/CHA, this agreement provides an opportunity for hoteliers to access STR’s statistical performance data “at a greatly reduced rate,” amounting to $370 for HSMAI members.
