HOUSTON The Shoney s Inns & Suites at Houston Intercontinental is slated for an expansion, which will include an additional 38 rooms and a 6,000-square-foot banquet facility. Due to heavy demand, 75% of the rooms will have upscale kitchens and another 25% will be King Suites. The project is set to be completed by August 1, 2001. (3/26/01)
