PRATTVILLE, AL The $12.5 million Legends at Capitol Hill Hotel and Conference Center in Prattville has officially opened. Chuck Ocheltree, general manager, said the facility has hosted several international golf groups, and has welcomed guests from Germany, Canada and South America since the center opened in early August.

Developers hope The Legends will fill a need in central Alabama for a business-oriented conference center. (8/23/00)
