TORONTO, ONTARIO— Delta Hotels will re-brand the Hôtel Radisson Québec in Quebec City as the Delta Québec effective July 1, 2003. The Delta Québec has 377 rooms, including a split-level Presidential Suite with views of the Parliament buildings, 14 meeting rooms, totaling 12,048 square feet which can accommodate up to 600 people, and a health club. The change-over to the Delta brand will bring added growth opportunities to the hotel and to CHIP properties throughout Quebec, according to CHIP Hospitality, which invested more than $5.2 million to enhance guestrooms and meeting and convention space at this full-service hotel in 2002. The Delta Québec is the third Delta franchised property managed by CHIP Hospitality. The other two properties are Delta Montréal and Delta Edmonton South Hotel and Conference Centre. The Delta Québec becomes the fifth Delta property in the province. The others are Delta Centre-Ville (Montreal), Delta Montréal, Delta Sherbrooke Hotel and Conference Centre and Delta Trois Rivières Hotel and Conference Centre.
