DALLAS— The Hotel Inter-Continental Dallas Near the Galleria has completed the second phase of a three-tiered, multi-million dollar renovation. The property now offers extensively redecorated meeting space and two new meeting rooms along with a significantly upgraded lobby and concierge area. The addition of the two meeting rooms gives the 529-room/39-suite hotel a total of more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space in 39 rooms. The hotel recently added a gazebo for social function and receptions in its pool areas, which is now called the Gazebo Court. Phase three is set to begin May 2002. During that final phase another 9,000 square feet of meeting space will be added. Plus, the hotels Monte Carlo evening restaurant will be made over and converted to an upscale, three-meal restaurant.
