MIAMI—Hotel Croydon, a fully renovated, luxury boutique property located on 38th and Collins Aves. here, recently opened. The hotel offers 104 guestrooms as well as a 750-sq.-ft. penthouse with a private balcony and panoramic ocean views.
Originally designed by E. Dean Parmalee in 1937, the property offers an L-shaped plan, which was constructed to utilize the direction of prevailing breezes from the south and east, according to the hotel.
Father and son Alan and Nathan Lieberman of South Beach Group Hotels own the hotel. “We know how challenging it is to find quality service in Miami, so we’ve hired a seasoned hospitality and management team at the property to ensure that our guests are happy from the moment they step into the hotel,” said Nathan. “My father and I are just as heavily involved in the daily operations at Croydon and will personally walk guests to their rooms, wait tables or even tend the bar.”
Hotel Croydon features a coffee and fresh squeezed juice bar in the lobby. Croydon Rose Spa offers various yoga classes (in studio and on the roof deck), meditation sessions, holistic massages, facials and other healing services. The hotel’s spa and fitness program provide a variety of classes, boot camps, workshops and retreats.
