PORT CHESTER, NY— Walsh Associates has won a contract from Host Marriott to coordinate $3 million in furniture, fixtures and equipment purchases for the redesign of four Courtyard by Marriott properties. The hotels are among the first in the nation to benefit from a nationwide program to change the interior décor of the Marriott properties. Walsh will purchase all case goods, fabrics, carpet and equipment required by Marriotts specifications for the new Courtyard by Marriott design. The four Courtyards—located in Norwalk, CN; Tallahassee, FL; Las Colinas, TX, and Foster City, CA—are the first of hundreds of Courtyards currently being considered for the new design created by Architectural Interiors of Annapolis, MD. Walshs project, which encompasses both guest rooms and public areas, will continue through January 2003. Founded in 1994, Walsh Associates has managed and/or provided purchasing services on more than 80 projects, and managed more than $100 million in construction projects and $80 million of FF&E. Walsh Associates provides both project management and FF&E purchasing services.
