FT. LAUDERDALE, FL— Aztec Leisure Corp. has been formed as an affiliate of the Miami-based Aztec Group specifically to provide development, mortgage and real estate brokerage services for those dealing in and with hospitality, living and lifestyle real estate products. According to Aztec Leisure Chairman Ezra Katz— who holds the same position with the Aztec Group— and President Mark Ellert, the new operation is the direct and repositioned descendant of Interlink, a local hotel-development and advisory organization that now adds full-scale brokerage capabilities to its product/service line. In line with the creation of this new entity, Ronald Muzii Jr. and Adam Petrillo have been named as managing director and director, respectively, of the new firm’s brokerage services. It was further noted they would be expected to complement development services under the supervision of James Lawson and Bromley Kelly. Muzii, an 18-year veteran of the hotel and resort industry, includes stints with Promus Hotel Corp. and Paris-based Constructa Properties in his extensively brokerage-based background, while Petrillo’s 20-plus years in the hotel and gaming industry incorporates top-level experience with Millamax.
