ATLANTA— The West Paces Hotel Group, LLC, a newly formed hotel management company which is headed up by former Ritz-Carlton executive Horst Schultze, signed an agreement to manage the Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center. John Russell, former general manager of The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, has been appointed as vice president and general manager for the 247-room htel and 22,000-square-foot conference center. The deal marks West Paces Hotel Groups expansion into the meeting and conference market, noted Schultze. The Auburn Hotel is located on the campus of the University. In addition to meeting space, the hotel offers a restaurant, lounge, pool and fitness center.
