MILWAUKEE— HOTEL BUSINESS® has learned that Michael Hool, director/development for Marcus Hotels & Resorts, has resigned his position effective immediately. Hool, who has been with the company since 1989, is leaving to pursue opportunities as an independent hotel development consultant. He will continue to work as a consultant for Marcus Hotels & Resorts. Bill Otto, president/COO of Marcus, will assume the development responsibilities previously held by Hool. There is currently no search for a replacement to fill the position. Marcus owns the Baymont Inns brand of hotels. –Diana M. Rodriguez
