ROSEVILLE, CA— A 111-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel, owned and managed by Fargo, ND-based Tharaldson Lodging Companies, has opened here at 401 Creekside Ridge Court, the first Homewood for the city. It is the brand’s seventh hotel in California, with four more planned or under construction in the state. “Roseville has been in great need of a hotel like Homewood Suites, which caters to guests staying five or more consecutive nights,” said Rae Russell, the hotel’s general manager. The four-story Homewood Suites by Hilton Sacramento-Roseville features residential-style studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and spacious sleeping and living areas that are large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxing. Other amenities include a daily complimentary Suite Start hot breakfast; a Welcome Home reception featuring a complimentary light meal and beverages Monday-Thursday evenings; complimentary local telephone calls; exercise facilities; and a 24-hour onsite Suite Shop convenience store. Additional amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and more than 700 square feet of meeting space. The fully equipped kitchen in each suite features a microwave oven, full-size refrigerator, twin-burner stove, dishwasher and all the necessary pots, pans and utensils. Guest suites also feature a remote-controlled television, an iron/ironing board, and two telephones with dual lines. The hotel is located near such tourist attractions as Sun Splash Water Park and Thunder Valley Casino, as well as near such business as Hewlett Packard, Oracle and Agilent.
