ATLANTA— Homestead Studio Suites Hotels, owner of more than 100 extended-stay hotels in 28 states, announced the acquisition of the Dallas North Hawthorn Suites from an independent owner. Terms of the acquisition were undisclosed. The 112-room all-suite hotel is Homesteads first conversion since the companys inception in 1992. The development is located in the Dallas metropolitan area on Dallas Parkway, off the North Dallas Tollway and one block north of Frankford. Built in 1999, the three-story hotel features an exercise room, an outdoor pool and spa, a lobby lounge with a fireplace, a business center, guest pantry and a meeting room that accommodates 50 individuals. The one- and two-bedroom studio suites amenities include mini-dishwashers, disposals and high-speed Internet DSL connections, as well as Homestead brand standards like a fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, microwave, dining and cooking utensils, workspace with computer dataport, and easy chair with ottoman. BRE/Homestead Village L.L.C., based in Atlanta, is an owner and operator of more than 100 extended-stay hotels in 28 states under the Homestead Studio Suites brand.
