BALTIMORE, MD–Home2Suites, Hilton Worldwides new mid-scale extended-stay brand, has opened its first conversion, a 95-suite hotel in downtown Baltimore.
Built in 1952 as an apartment house, the space had already been used as an all-suite hotel before becoming a Home2Suites. By contrast, the first two Home2Suites hotels to open—in Fayetteville, NC, and Layton, UT—were new construction. The Baltimore property was developed by Baywood Hotels.
