Holiday Inn Express Opens In Tampa

TAMPA, FL— The new 76-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tampa-Fairgrounds recently opened. The $5 million, limited-service property is owned and managed by Ram Tampa Inc., under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group. Located at 8610 Elm Fair Blvd. off of Interstate 4, the new 50,000- square-foot hotel has an outdoor heated pool; fitness center; business center; conference rooms; complimentary guest parking; 24-hour front desk; and express check-out. The hotel offers the Express Start breakfast bar with Smart Roast 100% Arabica coffee, warm cinnamon rolls, fruits, juices, cereals, and selected low-carb and protein options. Guestrooms feature Smart Roast in-room coffee and Smart Connect Telecommunications which includes free high-speed Internet access, free local phone and toll free (U.S. and Canada only), two phones with private voicemail, and complimentary USA Today newspapers. Additionally, rooms have the SimplySmart shower consisting of a multi-function showerhead by Kohler designed to compensate for fluctuations in water pressure; larger, 100% cotton towels; curved shower rods for more space; and white, hookless shower curtains. With the addition of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tampa-Fairgrounds, there are now 58 Holiday Inn Express hotels with more than 5,000 guestrooms in the state of Florida.
