PALM COAST, FL— The 81-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites-Palm Coast opened May 20, the first HIE to open in the area. The property, located at 200 Flagler Plaza Drive, is owned and managed by Silver Lining Ventures, Inc. “This is the first Holiday Inn Express hotel to be built in the Palm Coast area,” said Jenifer Zeigler, vp/marketing for the brand. “Development in this growing area, which is located near prime tourist locations, is important in expanding our Holiday Inn Express consumer base.” The hotel is proximate Flagler Beach and local golf courses, and less than an hours drive from Walt Disney World, Daytona Beach, the Daytona National Speedway, Cape Canaveral, the Kennedy Space Center and St. Augustine. The 42,000-square-foot hotel features a lounge, pool, business center and a 40-person meeting room. In addition, the property features 15 suites. Joe Cowling serves as general manager.
