WASHINGTON, D.C.— Hodges Ward Elliott successfully represented The Pinehurst Company (a subsidiary of ClubCorp) in the sale of the Daufuskie Island Resort in South Carolina. The assets include the Jack Nicklaus Melrose Golf Course, the Weiskopf-Bloody Point Golf Course, the conference center, the equestrian center and significant other real estate holdings. Hodges Ward Elliott, in conjunction with Millennium Real Estate Advisors, also successfully advised The Marshall B. Coyne Trust in the sale of The Madison Hotel and Office Building here. As previously reported by HOTEL BUSINESS®, the complex includes The Madison Hotel— a 353-room luxury hotel with over 16,000 square feet of function space— and 1155 15th Street— an office building with almost 95,000 square feet of rentable space. The property is located four blocks from the White House. Terms of the transaction were undisclosed.
