HITEC Attendance Broke Records

ORLANDO– Attendance for HITEC, the industry technology show which was held here last week, broke prior records, according to HFTP, the association that hosts the show. According to the latest count, attendees numbered 6,070, with over 750 exhibitor booths. Last year’s attendees totaled 5,840, with 668 exhibitor booths. The news is surprising since attendance at the show did seem light, however vendors at the show did express the opinion that attendees visiting their booths seemed to be highly qualified buyers who were earnestly shopping for new technology systems. —Ruthanne Terrero
