ATLANTA— Hitachi Telecom (USA), announced the first installation of the companys MAXimilian Suite product which offers an array of application software packages that further enhance their HCX5000 Family of PBXs. MIS Associates, a Hitachi Distributor located in Atlanta, provided MAXimilian Suite to The Westin Atlanta Airport which is served by a Hitachi HCX5000 PBX. Hitachi previewed the Client/Server software package at HiTEC last year and it will be available for sale in the first quarter of 2002. The MAXimilian Suite includes software packages that can be tailored to each hotels specific needs, said the company. The packages include MAX-Manager, the foundation of MAXimilian Suite, which provides flexible guest and alarm management; MAX-Reporting, which allows the creation of custom reports; MAX-Call Accounting, which provides industry leading pricing and reporting of telephone traffic; MAX-Repairman, which tracks property maintenance tasks; MAX-Messenger, which reports problems to selected staff via paging or e-mail; MAX-Weblink, which bridges the gap between Property Management Systems, the HCX5000 Product Family and other systems without the need for multiple terminals/personal computers, and MAX-Folio, which brings basic property management to small properties. “The Westin Atlanta Airport will be among the first of what we anticipate to be a great many properties, to benefit from this revolutionary PBX solution with leading-edge application enhancements,” stated Dick Sides, president of MIS Associates. “We are already talking to some of our other customers about this product and how it can further benefit their hotel operation.”
