Historic Hotels Of America Adds New Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. The National Trust for Historic Preservation added four members to its Historic Hotels of America program, which brings the program s total membership to 171 hotels.

The four new members include: Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence, KS, which is the groups first member in the state; the Dolce Tarrytown House in Tarrytown, NY, which is a 26-acre estate built in 1896; the Hotel Roanoke in Virginia, which was built by the Norfolk & Western Railroad in 1882; and the Vernon Manor in Cincinnati, OH, which has been a city landmark since 1924.
