SAUSALITO, CA— Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa has completed its expansion efforts. The nearly century-old property— owned by Olympus Real Estate Partners and managed by Rockresorts— now offers the new, full-service Avanyu Spa and a 31-room and -suite addition. Casa Madrona is now celebrating the grand opening of a new expansion that has been two years in the making with major construction and millions of dollars of investment. The new wing of 31 contemporary-styled guestrooms eature sunken whirlpool tubs, private balconies overlooking the Sausalito waterfront and warm, residential furnishings. In addition, the hotel has upgraded its existing 34 guestrooms with the addition of new beds, linens, carpeting, furniture, finishes and amenities. In conjunction with the expansion completion, Rockresorts has appointed Julie Davis-Petit as GM and director/sales and spa services. Davis-Petit is a former Fairmont and Marriott Hotel catering, sales and operations executive has over 16 years experience in the hospitality industry. She joins Jenny Toomer, new director/sales, and Sharon Holtz, new director/spa.
