HOUSTON Chateau Court, a new development that will consist of a six-story Hilton hotel, a European-style retail village and an office park, will be constructed in northwest Houston about one mile from the corporate headquarters of Compaq Computer Corp, according to a report in the Houston Chronicle.
The Compaq area, which is visited frequently by business travelers, has a shortage of business-class hotel rooms. The 171-room Hilton Gardens hotel, which will open next winter, will be the only full-service hotel in the neighborhood. (3/16/01)
