MCLEAN, VA—Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach, the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Shandong Province, China.
According to Rob Palleschi, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the property features a design concept that incorporates a modern twist on Qingdao’s history and European architecture.
The resort offers 431 guestrooms, including 29 suites ranging from 42-150 sq. m., all with private balconies. Guestrooms have walk-in showers, bath tubs, walk-in wardrobes, private toilets and garden or ocean views, and private balconies.
Five food and beverage outlets feature Western, Asian and Chinese cuisines. These include the Strand All Day Dining restaurant; Jiao Ao restaurant, which has Shandong and Cantonese delicacies; and Pure restaurant, which utilizes local produce and an open kitchen.
The hotel also offers 23 flexible function spaces, including a 2,100 sq.-m. pillar-less Grand Ballroom with an 800 sq.-m. pre-function area. All rooms and public areas throughout the hotel feature complimentary WiFi Internet access.
Other amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, spa, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course nearby.
Located on Golden Beach in the Huangdao district of Qingdao, this seaside resort is also close to Huangdao, the economic and technological development zone of Qingdao, as well as Qingdao’s business district and Liuting International Airport.
