PARIS— Hilton International has expanded its portfolio of French properties, now totaling 7 including four in Paris, with the opening of Hilton Paris La Defense on April 2nd. Adjacent to the ‘Grande Arche’ in the heart of the CNIT, this 4-star hotel offers 147 rooms (including 6 suites), 7 meeting rooms, 2 restaurants and 2 bars. The hotel will benefit from a 6-month global refurbishment program scheduled to begin in November 2002. The hotel will feature ‘Hilton Meetings’ (state-of-the-art meeting and conference solutions) and ‘Relaxation Rooms’ (an innovative room concept that divides the room into three separate zones blending work and relaxation). Nearly 50% of the Hilton Paris La Defense rooms will benefit from this new concept.
