PHILADELPHIA The city s annual flower show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center is being held this year from March 4 to March 11, and the Hilton Garden Inn located directly across the street is attempting to lure visitors by offering free show passes.
According to General Manager Vijnan Chandra, Hilton will offer an overnight stay that includes tickets to the Flower Show for one or two days.
The Philadelphia Flower Show is the largest indoor flower show in the world, and includes 56 major exhibitors, 156 market place exhibitors, 700 gardeners, and 2000 entries in the competitive classes. The show attracts visitors from all over the world. (2/19/01)
