BEVERLY HILLS, CA— The Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort in Mexico has appointed a new general manager. Joseph Zaiden, a 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been named general manager of the resort property. Zaiden most recently served as general manager of the 260-room Conrad Hurghada Resort in Egypt, a position held since 2001. Zaiden’s career began in 1982 as a managing partner of Horbrau Restaurant in Coral Gables, FL, in which he was responsible for all operations and administrative duties of the 120-seat dining facility. He has held various positions with prominent hospitality organizations including the Ramada Turquoise Reef, Turks & Caicos and the Ramada Treasure Island Resort, Grand Caymans – both in the British West Indies; the Hotel Inter-Continental Del Lago in Maracaibo, Venezuela; and the Hotel Inter-Continental in the Dominican Republic.
